Painful ejaculation could be caused by prostatitis

Prostatitis not only is annoying but also is painful. This disease can cause many painful symptoms to men, including painful ejaculation. Thus, if you have had this symptom, you might affect prostatitis.
What is prostatitis? Prostatitis is swelling and inflammation of prostatitis gland, a walnut-sized gland located directly below the bladder in men. Prostate fluid produced by prostate gland is one part of semen, thus, if the quality of prostate fluid is bad, the quality of semen will be bad too.

Prostatitis Self Treatment

Prostatitis is the inflammation of the prostate gland. Common symptoms include painful urination, groin pain and testicular pain.

Types

  • According to the Mayo Clinic, 5 to 10 percent of prostatitis is caused by bacteria and easily treated with antibiotics. However, non-bacterial prostatitis is difficult to diagnose and treat. Treatment is usually limited to self-care.

Effects

  • The goal of self-treatment is cutting down the inflammation in your prostate. The Mayo Clinic suggests soaking in a warm bath for 15 minutes per day.

Warning

  • Try to avoid eating foods that are spicy or acidic. They can irritate the prostate. Also, limit your intake of alcohol and caffeine as they can aggravate prostatitis.

Effects

  • Riding on bicycles and horses can aggravate your prostate, and it is best to avoid those activities when you are not feeling well. Also, siting on a cushion or pillow can be helpful.

Significance

  • In most cases, non-bacterial prostatitis will resolve on its own. However, it is common for the condition to become a chronic problem that sometimes reoccurs.
